How do I find housing?

Students attending California College of ASU have several options for housing in the Los Angeles Area.

As of Fall 2024, CCASU students are eligible to live in limited off-campus ASU housing at Broadway Palace, located at 1026 S. Broadway (just two blocks from our main campus!). Students interested in more information can visit this ASU housing site, or contact ASU Housing Specialist Laura Talavera directly at ltalave6@asu.edu.

Many of our students also seek housing with Kapi, an off-campus student housing company that partners with educational institutions to provide top-of-the-line, furnished apartments to students (but please keep in mind that the college does not have an official partnership with them). Students interested in finding out more should email info@kapiresidences.com.

Upon review, if California College of ASU students decide that Kapi's services do not meet their needs, they will need to source housing independently. They may choose to look into Craigslist, Apartments.com, Apartmentfinder.com, Zillow, and similar sites or apps to help them in their independent search.

The student led California College of ASU group Student Voice & Action has also put together a Guide to LA (currently under construction)which covers basic information on areas to look into, crime rates, public transportation and fun things to do. This guide is constantly being updated and is to be used as a reference only, not an absolute rulebook on how to live in Los Angeles.
