Did ASU acquire us?

No! We realize our new name is confusing, but we are still our own school with our own programs, staff, faculty, and policies. Now that we have officially partnered with ASU, our students will begin to have access to a better variety of resources that we could not provide on our own. You can take classes through ASU, when indicated, and ASU students can take some of ours.

Keep an eye out for additional announcements regarding shared resources for our students!

One of my classes is scheduled at CCG, where is that?

We're excited to start offering classes at the California Center Grand, previously known as the FIDM building. This building has quick access to a public park, on site cafe, and student lounge!

The building is located at 919 S. Grand Ave. in Downtown Los Angeles, half a mile away from our Broadway campus.

What about summers? Will they be required?

Summer courses are not required, but may help you graduate faster than anticipated. Registration for summer courses will be based on student need and interest, and will typically include options through ASU.

Please make sure to meet with your financial aid officer if you are interested in taking summer courses.

I don't have a car, how do I get to the buildings in Downtown LA?

- Culver CityBus

- Foothill Transit

- LADOT DASH

- Montebello Transit

- Norwalk Transit

- Pasadena Transit

- Gardena Transit

- Big Blue Bus (Santa Monica)

- Torrance Transit

Students interested in using the U-Pass Program must complete this Student Information Formthis Sign-Up Formand set an appointment to pick up their TAP cards. Please contact Lynda Spargur at [email protected] with any additional questions. We also encourage students to check out Metro Trip Planner to familiarize themselves with the area.

*Please note that students must choose between the U-Pass and Parking Reimbursement Programs--- you cannot be enrolled in both!

Where do I park? Will I be reimbursed?

Check out this guide on parking near the main, Broadway campus

Reimbursements are available by direct deposit at a rate of $10 max per on ground class, per week. Reimbursements will be processed at the beginning of each month. You must be in good academic and financial standing with the college to be eligible for reimbursements. Please make sure to complete this Parking Reimbursement Program Application if driving will be your main method of transportation--- reimbursements for parking will only be processed when students attend their on ground courses at the Herald Examiner Building.
